How long does it take to get a pool permit in La Marina/San Fulgencio?
The architect typically needs four weeks to complete the project, then about two weeks for the Architects' Chamber in Alicante to sign off on it. Since 2026, the town hall has been very slow due to the sheer volume of building applications; our last pools took at least a year to get approved. But... once the permit fees are paid, it means everything is in order and we can start work. The invoice, however, usually arrives within two weeks, meaning the town hall collects the money and then doesn't do the work for a year or more... no comment (LOL).
